about me
Hi, I’m a journalist, photographer and editor based in Bathurst, in Central West New South Wales.
I’ve always been fascinated by the idea of home.
I was born in Thailand, grew up in Hong Kong, and hold both Australian and German passports — so I’ve never really had a straightforward answer to the question “Where are you from?” I guess that’s why I think of myself as a third culture kid and a global citizen.

Storytelling — whether through words or images — has always been a big part of my life. Over the years, that passion has turned into a career. I’ve worked as Managing Editor at Hong Kong Living, overseeing three monthly English-language magazines, and later joined the team at Perspective Magazine, a Hong Kong and Asia Pacific design publication (before it sadly closed its doors).
These days, I work freelance and take on a mix of photography and writing projects. I specialise in portrait, lifestyle, travel and landscape photography — and I love capturing people and places with honesty and warmth.
